Guardian & Child Water Safety Programming
AquaFamilies is a Guardian-and-child centered aquatic program designed to build water confidence, strengthen family connection, and establish essential water safety skills from an early age. With Guardians or guardians actively participating in the water, children learn through guided experiences led by trained instructors and aides in a safe, supportive environment.
This program emphasizes shared learning—giving families the tools, techniques, and confidence to practice water safety skills together both in and out of the pool. Through structured activities, play-based learning, and hands-on coaching, participants are introduced to foundational concepts such as safe water entry, supported floating, breath control, and early self-rescue skills.

There are two courses for AquaFamilies:  AquaBabies, for children ages 6 months-3 years, and AquaTots, for participants 3 to 6 years.

AquaFamilies is ideal for young swimmers and their caregivers who are looking to build comfort in the water, develop lifelong safety habits, and create positive, engaging aquatic experiences together.
