Adaptive Swim Lessons
At RAPRD, we are committed to creating an inclusive aquatics environment where all participants are encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed together. Whenever possible, we support swimmers in participating in our AquaKids group lesson program, where they can build skills alongside their peers in a structured and engaging setting.
For swimmers who may require additional support beyond what can be provided in a group environment, we offer Adaptive Swim Lessons. These lessons are designed for individuals with disabilities who require a more individualized approach to safely and successfully participate in aquatics programming.
Adaptive lessons provide tailored instruction, modified teaching strategies, and a supportive pace to meet each swimmer’s unique needs. Our goal is to build water safety skills, confidence, and independence while ensuring a positive and empowering experience in the water.
We encourage families to consider group lesson placement when appropriate, and our team is happy to help determine the best fit for each swimmer based on their needs, goals, and comfort level.
